Brighton Dance Diversion is an annual dance theatre summer school held at Roedean School for students aged 7 - 18 years.
Brighton Dance Diversion (bdd) is separated into three companies, Professional Co, Nimble Co and Express Co all of which participate in fun filled workshops led by the profession’s top teachers whom prepare the students for a spine-tingling dance theatre performance at the end of the week.

I am still in shock as to how smoothly our performance ran on Sunday, you guys were all fantastic and I think your audience were incredibly impressed.
We've had loads of great feedback and all the teachers have been calling to see how you all did. I have to say I thought Miss Kathryn's ballets were fabulous and you all looked secure on stage and I really enjoyed 'Jesus Christ Superstar', the professionals, Jan and Sophie really managed create a mature piece of theatre.
Daz was really pleased with how the acting went and we were all screaming" ZOMBIE " very loudly and of course 'The Owl and The Pussycat ' stole the show as we all expected.
Many thanks for our present Daz and I were very touched by the card, album and Twyla's kind words and will make sure we bring photos of the wedding next year.
Finally I hope you all enjoyed your week of performing and learning about contemporary theatre, I thought you were all very friendly and admired how you all just got stuck in. A big thank you to all your parents who sent you, looked for costumes and then supported you on Sunday and I hope to see you all next year for an even bigger, more innovative and super slick summer school.
Don't forget the bdd DVD will be out in November!
